ONE YEAR - how long it’s taken to infiltrate this alleged fitness training group.

Shannon Dutter - BUSTED!!

That’s three M4L training seasons, for those scoring at home -- a zillion practice miles/laps (run, bike, swim); three triathlons - two sprints, one long; some 5K & 10K races, a la Orchard to Ocean; weekly Reef & Run and Nite Moves summer swim/run venues; a four-mile Goleta Education Foundation Run; one McConnell’s Biathlon and, of course, The State Street Mile . . .  and some other stuff not remembered.

Many incredible hours spent with the most fun & fascinating people you’ll ever meet - all with inspirational, powerful personal stories - all who had no clue as to my covert literary assignment.
They universally accepted me, their MoBro, as one of their own.

Me - usually the lone ripple of testosterone in an Ocean of Estrogen.
Research was exhaustively conducted at great personal sacrifice - transforming into the best shape in this reporter’s adult life - all for investigative discovery to showcase to the world, once and for all.

And what sharing - anything is fair game!! OMG!! Real hearty stuff that guys never touch!!

Things like. . . um. . . well...ya know. . . probably best not to “go there.” Especially since, in the interest of full journalistic disclosure - this reporter was always a very eager participant - often & immediately waaaaay, waaaaay in over my head with these sharp professionals, but “in the game,” nevertheless.

Imagine being the one dude on The View all the time??

And, one last amazing revelation. . .

When confronted with “all the facts, ma’am” along with action photos - kinda like how they do it on 60 Minutes & TMZ - M4L Leader Schroeder didn’t deny the truth, yet added:

“We may be all about getting together with java in the morning, but something magical also happens in the evening when sharing vino amongst special M4L friends.”
