The women of Momentum 4
Life, a local group training together for fitness and fun, joined with the
Cancer Center of Santa Barbara to sponsor "Divas at the DoubleTree."
Festivities took place on September 8 at the luxurious Fess
Parker's DoubleTree Resort.
The
theme of this ‘ultimate girl’s night out’ was Gowns and Crowns and the event was
a woman's paradise.
Arriving in limousines after parking in the DoubleTree lot,
the female guests were greeted by handsome, tuxedo-clad waiters offering
them flutes of champagne and then were crowned a DIVA for the day. The
resort's rotunda was the place to be where Divas had makeovers, participated in a karaoke
contest, had their palms read and feasted on appetizers and desserts while they
sipped on wine and/or martinis. The gowns and the crowns were
fabulous. The red carpet was impressive, I can't think of a better way to
feel like a true Diva for the evening.
We
absolutely loved the presentation and all of the activities.
We
highly recommend this event to all the "Divas" in Santa Barbara waiting to be
discovered.
